You had access to all of their powers and some variety of armors and weapons, but your character itself was lacking immersion. The only thing that lacked in a playthrough was a true playthrough as one of the characters from the anime. Naruto mods have slowed down in popularity over the years, but the ones that were created, big ones like 'Naruto Overhaul' and 'The Uchiha Clan' are timeless additions to any modlist, whether you're an anime fan or not, the level of design and hard work that went into those spells were phenomenal for they time debuted.
